Solaris, Kladovo
CEEFOR developed feasibility study and main projects design for two PV Plants in Serbia which are located in Kladovo.
- Date: 2011-2014
- Client: Solaris Energy
- Project Type: Project designs
About this Project
Solar PV plants cover 11 hectares and have an installed capacity of 4 MW with an investment value that amounts to 7 million EUR. Until now in Kladovo are built 2 MW (the first 1MW in December 2013, the second 1MW in November 2014). Investor plans to build two more MW.
The solar power plant, which was built in the village of Velesnica, in the municipality of Kladovo, has been producing green energy since 2013 for placement in the electricity distribution system.
Photovoltaic polycrystalline panels and string inverters were used to convert the direct current generated in the solar panels into alternating current.
